We recycle or reuse 100% of our raw materials and our scrap foam cup lamination panels are used in soft toys and mattresses.
Our wire scrap is recycled in local recycling plants
Carton scrap is used as paper bi-products
Our Environment
HOME GARDENS
Our goal is to enable all employees to have home gardens by 2012. The project is comprised of Metric employee’s families. Individual growth plans developed in joint effort with Department of Agriculture. Metric Products is supporting education and fundamentals for this program, including product sales at our facility
TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND
After the tsunami in 2005, Metric Products joined hands with the Sri Lanka Fund and was the single largest donor to the very first housing project to be occupied after the tragedy.
We built 40 homes which housed 40 families who needed to be relocated following the disaster. We have an ongoing involvement with the project, seeing to it that the residents have fresh water and other supplies ensuring the sustainability of the project

ENGLISH SCHOOL
Our community based english programs enhance the english speaking skills of both children and adults in the neighborhood. These programs are fully funded by Metric Products.
